Over 20 years ago, a friend asked me to help her negotiate her salary. She had been excelling in her role, taking on extra responsibilities, and saving her company money. Yet when it came time to talk pay, her instinct was to explain why she didn’t deserve more.

That moment lit a fire in me. I dove into negotiation, especially the gender dynamics that hold women back. What I learned is that success isn’t about delivering clever lines — it’s about mindset. Together, we built an approach that blends emotional intelligence with practical skills. And I discovered something bigger: the same principles that help people earn more also help them get hired. It all comes down to one skill — telling your story to show your value.

Since then, I’ve coached hundreds of professionals to land dream jobs, step into leadership, and negotiate salaries they once thought impossible.
